It is our goal to accommodate every client we fly and to exceed their every expectation. There are however, situations that we encounter everyday that require special accommodation’s to ensure our clients have the very best experience while they are in our care. While these situations are not unusual, they usually occur when a family with young children is traveling on vacation, or an elderly person is on board, or a passenger is traveling with their pet.
How do we accommodate for these situations when you are not just flying business passengers to their next meeting? When traveling with young children, as most of us have experience, it is sometimes difficult to fill the time it takes to reach your destination. To help relieve that stress on parents all our aircraft have video capability to keep everyone entertained as they travel. For traveling safety our crews will place a DOT approved child restraint seat on the aircraft for any child. Most times we will schedule this ahead of time to ease any concerns on a parent’s part. If a child is under the age of two a parent may hold their child in their lap during the flight.
To accommodate elderly passenger’s needs we know it it important to make them feel secure, give them time and adequate assistance when needed. When enplaning and deplaning the aircraft we will park their vehicle right next to the aircraft door to reduce the distance required to walk. If we can not get the passengers vehicle next to the aircraft we will call ahead and request a golf cart to aid them in getting themselves and their luggage to their car. While on board the aircraft they have blankets and pillows available to make their travel more comfortable. If a wheelchair is required we will secure one for their use while traveling or place their own wheelchair aboard in the cabin.
To accommodate pets while they travel we encourage owners to keep a leash on their pets for safety. Pet owners are allowed and encouraged to hold their pet during the flight. If the animal is too large to hold, the pet can sit at their owner’s feet on the floor of the aircraft cabin. This will allow the pet to feel comfortable and at ease while they fly. When you travel with Special Services our top priority is each client’s safety and comfort. Accommodating for any circumstance or occasion always makes a client”s experience more enjoyable and we are ready and able to do whatever it take to make that happen.
