Mark your calendars for two great South Carolina aviation events for 2013. First, is the annual South Carolina Aviation Association Conference on Wednesday, February 13 through Friday, February 15. This yearly meeting is a great way to find out what is happening with aviation in the state of South Carolina. In addition, education sessions run throughout each day to discuss important aviation topics that are relevant to anyone in aviation. There are also opportunities to meet with exhibitors and network each day of the conference. This year’s keynote speaker will be Steve Uzzell. The second event will be the 3rd annual South Carolina Aviation Expo. The dates this year will be Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28, at the Downtown Greenville Airport (GMU). This event is focused on bringing anyone in the aviation industry together for a trade show type event. Last years event saw over 52 vendors from aircraft and parts manufactures, maintenance companies, flight & maintenance training, insurance, FAA and many more. The expo is a great opportunity to connect with these vendors and generate customers. The two days are also packed with education seminars covering a wide range of aviation topics.
