There has been recent and frequent news here in the upstate of SC about the recent announcement of Southwest Airlines coming to the Greenville Spartanburg Airport and the destinations that they will be going.  Our community has worked hard and very much as a team to get this major “low fare” air carrier to come to our great community.  While this is great for the general population, and great for the current and future businesses that are based here, there are still challenges with commercial air service that Southwest or any other airlines cannot address.

While commercial service costs less, there are no other real benefits to this type of aviation transportation.  Private aviation on the other hand has more benefits with one negative.  Although private aviation transportation is more expensive (the only negative), it offers more flexibility, opportunity and dependability, with less hassle.

Private aviation begins by an individual or company who has determined that they are tired of the hassles and lack of productivity that is caused by traveling on commercial aircraft.  Once the realization has been made that a person can be more productive by having more work time available, and the decision has been made to travel privately, then that person or company must determine what type of aircraft would best meet their mission profile.  Private aviation offers a wide variety or aircraft with different mission capabilities and costs.  Each type of aircraft can serve the individual well if it is the correct aircraft for the mission.

After an aircraft has been selected, the true benefits come to light.  True flexibility is realized when the individual has the option to choose his departure times and destinations.  Opportunity is realized when the individual sees the benefits of private aviation, and puts these benefits to work.

Dependability comes into play if the appropriate aircraft is chosen, and when a professional person or company is selected to manage the aircraft.  This is where Special Services Corporation excels.  Our company can help you in all phases of private aviation, from research, selection, operation and maintenance.  For more information, contact me, James Stephens at 864-242-3383 or [email protected].
