2013 is almost over and it’s time to ring in a brand new year. Seems like only yesterday we were getting ready for spring.
As we reflect on a year that was full of challenges, spend some time evaluating your wins, losses, and the things you could do better. What were the factors that helped secure the wins? Can you make any adjustments to minimize the losses? What can you do better?
2013 was a year of notable losses for our aviation community and we will miss our friends dearly. Perhaps reflecting on the characteristics that made our friends memorable would be a good thing to do. Perhaps taking time for self evaluation would be good, as well. How would you be remembered by your friends? Any changes you would like to make?
2014 will be another year of challenges. The influences of the economy and politics will likely have an impact on our industry. Hopefully the positive will outweigh the negative and business aviation will continue to expand. We’re ready!
So, here’s to the memory of old friends and to a prosperous 2014. May it be full of wins and favor!
Cheers!
