Matt Mundry of Yukon River Acquisitions depends on SSC to keep the company’s King Air B200 flying.
Like most in the aviation industry, Mundry has owners and clients who expect to get in the King Air and get where they need to go. They don’t want to hear about things like tires and de-ice boots that wear and need periodic replacement to stay airworthy. Mundry simply arranges to have the plane tugged over to SSC to have the work done.
SSC goes above and beyond to ensure the work is done correctly. During one windshield replacement, the sealant didn’t set properly and wasn’t passing the pressurization tests – and the airplane had a scheduled flight the next day. SSC personnel stayed late to correct the problem and came in early to ensure everything was completed, inspected, and perfect.
The best thing about SSC, in Mundry’s opinion, is the personal attention.
“When you deal with big companies, you feel like you’re interrupting them when you call. With SSC, you can actually walk in, sit down, and discuss what you need. They really take an interest and make sure we’re taken care of.”
